Avni Çelik
Chairman of SINPAS GROUP
Avni Çelik was born in Çorum/Alaca in 1950. After completing his primary and high school education, he graduated from the Civil Engineering Faculty of State Engineering and Architecture Academy in Ankara.
Starting at his university years, Mr. Çelik has been active in business with commercial and industrial ventures for 41 years. During this period of time, Sinpaş Group was formed with more than 10 companies including its flagship company Sinpaş Yapı Endüstrisi A.Ş.
Sinpaş, which was formed under the leadership of Avni Çelik, is one of the most respected brands in quality housing construction. Seranit, one of the ventures of the group, produces granite-creamic, acclaimed both in Turkey and around the world. Micronized calcite factories located in Niğde which produces and exports the purest and whitest micronized calcite in the world. The remaining 3 ventures of Sinpaş Group, production of furniture (kitchen and bathroom cabinets and doors), structural steel (steel constructions, roof, fire safety doors and steel doors) and elevators (lifts) – escalators.
Avni Çelik is a member of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Istanbul Chamber of Industry, and Chamber Civil Engineers. He is a founder member and a member of Board of Trustees of Çorum Education Foundation, Istanbul University of Commerce and Boğaziçi Foundation.
In addition to his organized initiatives in the fields of education and social responsibilities, the short biography of Avni Çelik consists of Sinpaş Group and its ventures to which he has dedicated his business life of 41 years.
