Cuneyt Ortan born in 4th of May 1964 in Izmir Turkey is one of the major partners in the said companies called EPD Entertainment Project Development LTD, PPD Property Project Development SA and Arena Music Investments SA and having graduated from Bornova Anatolian Lyceum in İzmir/Turkey and had attended Richmond College in London majoring on Business Administration and then attended and graduated from American College in London majoring on Marketing.
In the year 1988 he worked for a company called A J Beckhor and CO as a stock broker in the City of London. After that, in 1990 he returned to Istanbul, Turkey to establish a daily sportspaper called “Fotospor”. With the successive launch of Fotospor, he then established the following media companies in succession such as Radio Sport, Le Chic Fm, Kiss Fm, Kiss Tv. He also established record companies called Kiss Muzik , Klip Müzik and Müyada Distribution being Sony Music’s distribution company as a record producer.
Later in the 90’s and in early 2000, he became a board member in Atv Television Channel, Sabah Newspaper and Medya Holding’ which was and still is one of the two largest media groups in Turkey. Apart from this he also was co-producer in a major motion picture called “Beyza’nın Kadınları” “Shattered Soul” in Turkish film Insdustry. And this movie had won a major award in St.Petersburg Film Festival
Furthermore, he then went into concert and event promotion business with Ahmet San in the year 2007. Having promoted 60 concerts ranging from artists Jose Carreras to Lionel Richie, Kylie Minouge, Metallica..etc in 2007- 2008. He then went into advertisement production with Kevin Costner for Turkish Airlines’ 2009 campaign along with other artists’ concert promotions like Julio Iglesias Turkey Tour in 2009 , Michael Bolton and Gloria Estefan’s Istanbul concert.
He currently is launching Istanbul Bosphorus Conference with Ahmet San.
